Something Slightly Different

I tried doing some diagnostics on the printer first thing this morning to try and get it to work.
That didn't help - it froze halfway through.
What did, was opening the lid (something I never do because I never use it as a copier). 
That was when I found that the glass platen was shattered.
No idea when that happened but it means a new printer is required ... but it wont be an HP because this one - and the previous one which died while under guarantee - were absolute rubbish.

It was easy to see that most of the regular staff at The Larder were on holiday (taking the chance while a new kitchen is being fitted) as several of the lids on the food containers had not been put on properly which resulted in a lot of the paper bags ending up soggy and some simply disintegrating. There was also two bags left over which I suspect should have been in a plastic bag going to a family of 11.

SWMBO had a crown fitted today - weeks earlier than expected because they had a cancelation and the crown had arrived sooner than expected.

There had been a sudden explosion in the garden and there is a wee bit of colour.
