Getting There

It is surprising hard to get these spinning tops right.
Turning them isn't really the problem - it is the tip and 'dimple' and their relationship to each  other.
The tip needs to be recessed enough to stop the top falling off when it stops spinning and the dimple has to be just the right depth with the sides tapering at just the right sort of angle to allow the top to spin freely, but not too tight.
That is the bit I am having problems with.
Most of them are 'acceptable' with a couple of them being decent.

I had to drop SWMBO off at her oldest sister's house this afternoon for a 'girls afternoon' ...... with The Wicked Witch, who is over from Spain to empty her partner's flat in Dunbar as he has eventually sold it.
