!!!! There has been a bomb explosion/s near the finish line of the Boston Marathon . Many casualties. Our relatives watching the race finish are safe, but others 5ft from them were not as lucky. S does not know where his wife, N, who is running is. (7PM, all 12 who were watching from both sides of their families are home safe, including N the runner who was at mile 25.5)

Explosion & fire at the JFK Library in the new wing. It's unknown if it's connected at this time, probably not, who knows



Three deceased, one an 8 year old child. Over 176 injured, quite a few children.

Today is a holiday and school vacation week. Watching the Boston Marathon is a longstanding and very popular family event.

T's business trip may have saved us, we would have been right there had she been home.

This day came in bright and lovely, a perfect day for the 117th running of the Boston Marathon. I found this photo of T's nephew's wife on Boston.com this morning. She's a first time Boston Marathon runner and is running well, 30K into the course. Fantastic!
