Old Ironsides III

Inspired by HelenJG's visit last week I made the most of a random Monday morning and visited RAF Fairford for the first time. Aviation photography is definitely not my area of expertise but it was quite fun trying to get shots without necessarily being in the right place and not having a clue about what if anything was going to happen. I was there way too late to see the U2 spy planes depart but after a lot of waiting around one of the visiting B52Hs taxied out and took off - main blip is as the throttles on all 8 engines are opened up for take-off.
