Forest surprises

After a day doing chores of various types, including a dump run, cleaning the cars, planting potatoes, and shopping, it was good to get out in the early evening for a walk in the woods. It was a really lovely sight that met us there - a carpet of anemones as far as we could see. Further on some bluebells were also starting to make an appearance and everything is starting to look so colourful at last. A break from the bleakness of winter and the world news.
