Fritillaria Imperialis ‘Sunset’

This flower is one of three new this year. I bought quite a few bulbs from Sarah Raven including these. All three are now flowering…see extra for the pots in which they are the centrepiece. I also bought collections of bulbs…two were brilliant bulb lasagnes which had irises( now over, narcissus and the dark red tulips ‘Merlot’…the biggest pot is a scented tulip and narcissus collection which has narcissus Minniw now flowering and two types of tulips which are yet to flower Princses Irene and Avignon Parrot( both have orange flowers)  I will be interested to see if they are scented. Maybe they will be the subject of another blip in a week or so!

More time in the garden digging up old roots of a climber and reorganising the pots. A bit of rain drove me indoors.
Also got rid of via Freecycle some old brackets for hanging baskets and balcony planters that I found in the Garage and don’t need… better than to landfill.
