Visit Wales

It’s not France, granted, but a quick trip over the border to Wales was definitely a lot less stressful than trying to deal with airports right now. That’s what I’m telling myself, anyway.

A lovely day of meandering towards our accommodation via Llangollen then a picnic at the Horseshoe falls then a visit to the Rhug Estate to pick up our supplies for the trip. Our accommodation is above a little country pub. Dad and I were dismayed to discover that the pub was closed today but our host poured us a pint as she told us about the area.

A brief walk before dinner then with no tv / phone reception / WiFi / radio, there was nothing to do but read. How utterly delightful.
