Retirement Cake. Lumix M4/3 14mm

Today, we held a little party for one of my colleagues who, after 46 years as a radiographer, has announced her retirement.  While she was at lunch, our supervisor, another colleague and I snuck into the department and surprised her.  I was charged with bringing the cake. Being firmly of the belief that if you're going to eat bad stuff, it should be REALLY GOOD bad stuff, I brought a chocolate ganache cake.  We were not disappointed!   As it turns out, I shall be inheriting my colleague's shift starting next week.
