Survivors

These flowers have survived for almost three weeks. I culled them from the 4 vases of blooms I got on Mother’s Day in March before throwing the others out in preparation of my jaunting to the North Isles.
It felt too harsh to confine them to the bin when they still look so healthy. I’ll leave the date of their ultimate demise to David and Luca.

I’m all packed 24 hours too early, but I’ve no doubt I’ll be in and out of the case a few times before I drag it away tomorrow morning.
