Fettling
There is always another detail to sort out, a little glitch, when it comes to software and this system was no exception. But this gentleman (slightly disguised) managed to get away to LHR knowing that I would be back next week to sell the system to the customer.
The two strips on the wall are used to demonstrate how scenery looks different through night vision goggles (NVGs): the different colours through NVGs look all the same, whereas the patches of felt all look different, merely because of the way they reflect energy to the NVG user.
It was interesting to be back at work, even if only for a few days. I had forgotten many names, but managed to bluff my way through the day. Now for the long trek southwest for Easter, getting up at crack of sparrow’s tomorrow in the hope of missing the bulk of the traffic. But should I take the M3 or the A303 . . . ?
[if anyone is confused it might be because I had this on the wrong day and had to swap it]
