Rum day

Went for a midday meeting only to find it was scheduled for one o'clock - if only I'd checked my diary before I set off rather than when I got there. Spent an hour reading in the car and then went in. Person I was meeting wasn't there so I waited a while before they suggested that they didn't know when she'd be back so I might as well split. Near enough home when I got a call to apologise; the lady I was meeting had got delayed at the opticians. We've rescheduled for later in the week. Funnily enough this place is opposite the one I couldn't get into back in February - perhaps they are built on a Saxon burial ground or something.
