Soul destroying

Not a good visit to Mum, she really is very ill. She is being pumped full of antibiotics and her temperature keeps spiking to nearly 40 so they have to give her liquid paracetamol to bring it down. They are doing all sorts of test she has had a CT scan and is having an MRI scan tomorrow.
