GA Conference Day 1

So, up early and breakfast in the hotel before heading onto the campus to help set up the event. GA staff had arrived and exhibitors were setting up. Helped again, and then we had a long standing members lunch in the restaurant - lovely to meet and chat to former Presidents and do a short speech. Then back to the accommodation to meet up with Matt and Richard and check in and drop things off. Walked back to the venue to meet people, chair the Public lecture with James Cheshire and then head for wine reception and Conference buffet - tired but a good start to the event - another speech - headed back to the accommodation and a chat and a few beers to end the day.
