No - I Couldn't Do It.

I was on chauffeur duties today.

Mid morning I took SWMBO up to the shops to make use of the cash dispenser.
That was where we saw the shockingly lazy parking. A busy car park and this driver was too lazy to make even the slightest effort to use one parking bay.
It was then round to Bags' house to pick up her and Squirrel and take the three of them to the tram stop at the airport ... they were going out for lunch and then the theatre (Dream Girls).

I took a slight diversion on the way home to get a Blip at the Almond Aqueduct.
Heights are something I have never been able to deal with very well (to put it mildly) and a 75 foot drop to a river on one side and what looks like a bottomless body of water in the canal on the other, complete with uneven cobbles underfoot is a real challenge (understatement).
I managed to get about 1/3rd of the way over, but looking up to get the Blip was just too much and I had to turn round and take my churning stomach but to solid ground.
There are 4 reflection shots over here - which I took in an attempt to steady my nerves.

My afternoon was spent at the lathe before I had to go back to the airport to collect the girls.
The traffic heading west as I was heading east was absolutely solid (rush hour traffic compounded by the City Bypass being closed).
It was very slow from the roundabout leaving the park & ride up onto the main road - but then it was clear and an easy run home ......... amazing.
