First Swallow!
Today's image is the tree that is in the corner of the garden at the front of our house. It is probably a willow, which accounts for the amount of growth each year on the top stems. We have decided that this year it requires more radical pruning than the usual, annual trim. Tomorrow the tree surgeon will come to cut it back and thin out the tangled branches.
After a trip to the market this morning, I went for coffee with Viewpoint to find out how she is making the fascinating and beautiful, folding books of her photographs. Many inspiring ideas to try and experiment with.
The grafted aubergine plants I ordered arrived today, so I potted them up before more weeding.
This evening the first swallows have been swooping around outside, obviously in need of food after their long flight here. Spring is here!
