Lavender fields

Not yet, but by the end of June these fields are a carpet of lavender. Beautiful even today and one of our favourite places.

The temperature has been amazing. No wind and warm enough to have the roof down on my car. After Castle Farm we walked from Lullingstone to Eynsford along by the river where we had lunch outside at The Plough. Then back again for a cup of tea for me and an ice cream for hubby. Way to celebrate our anniversary!

It’s Maundy Thursday and an evening to remember the last meal Jesus ate with his disciples before the awful next day, Good Friday. A weekend of remembrance and gratitude.
