Picture on the wall at the hotel in Lima

I did put up a blip of the inside of the cathedral in Lima which we saw yesterday but on my phone, and it wouldn’t let me change the date so I have deleted it and will do as a back blip when we get home.
Today has been long and exhausting. We went to the airport at 4.30am , boarded the plane for Cusco and after an hour on the tarmac had to disembark due to an unexpected traffic controllers strike in Cusco! Many phone calls and messages later resulted in us being picked up and taken back to the hotel we have been in for the last 3 nights.The first flight we can get is for lunch time on Saturday which means that we will miss 3 days if our tour including two days of birding in the dry forest and the cloud forest. Added to that, the farmers are going to blockade the roads in and out of the Sacred valley as a protest about rising fuel and fertiliser costs, meaning that not only can’t we go to the Multicoloured mountain but two or three days have to be rejigged. H has his birthday tomorrow so that’s going to be rather different that expected.
