Turned into a Lovely Day

Gosh it was chilly this morning! 30F/-1.1C! I did botanical garden work until mid-afternoon and got out in the garden. It was sunny, and still a little cool - 52F/11.1C but I warmed up quickly. The gardens are looking really quite lovely - the cool, rainy weather has kept the tulips in good shape. Sometimes we have a really warm week right about now and it blasts all the tulips. So I don't mind this at all! We were gone last weekend, so the weeds were starting to get rambunctious. So took care of that, and some transplanting too.

This clump of tulips never fails to please me! Gorgeous colors aren't they?
