Tuliptastic!

Met up with friends at Sarah Raven’s cutting garden at Perch Hill which had an open day.  It was an absolutely glorious day, sunny and warm and clever people had bought a picnic.  Issy and I wandered around taking pictures of so many glorious plant combos and I came home with loads of ideas, and an overpriced zinc planter 

We had lunch in the garden of a terrific pub that V had found in Salehurst called Salehurst Halt.  Fun, and indeed a bit hot sitting in the sun….

Drove home, did some frantic potting up of all my treasures and the a zoom with bros. 

Nature (and farming) notes.  The cattle are back in the field and I *think* I saw a swallow, or a martin at least.  Likely?
