GA Conference - Day 3

Well, what a day - up early feeling surprisingly chipper despite having taken some whisky onboard - breakfast then checked out and into the Uni - started with a session from Professor Ian Cook on a card game for fashion sustainability; then found and met my Keynote speaker - the author Dipo Faloyin - his new book 'Africa is not a Country' was just out in hardback - went down very well - had lunch, and spoke to some of the people involved with our student event called GEOLive. Had a session on Why Study Geography? and then the final act was the Rex Walford Memorial Lecture by Nicola Walshe (pictured here) - a pleasure to introduce Nicola - from there I collected up all my stuff and loaded the car - some final goodbyes, then I hit the M25 - and was still on it an hour and a half later... the M11 emptied out and in the end it was about 3 hours home... with a large whisky to end the day
