All work and play

Bonfire and curry on the plot last night - coffee and cake, and deck chairs in the picnic area today... It must be a bank holiday!

It's nice to sit down and enjoy the allotment once in a while. And it was nice to be on the plot early to get jobs done and water late in the evening!

It's been so hot this weekend, I'm glad temperatures are forecast to be cooler next week as, as much as we enjoy a taste of summer, those sudden temperature changes are never good for plants.
