The light of God
I was late up this morning. I wanted to be at the harbour for sunrise. We have a pair of resident swans on the river and I have noticed that the cobb enters the harbour from the sea and once inside the harbour walls flies up river to the nest site. I have always been caught out and this morning was no exception, rushing to get in place and all the wrong settings. Get up at 5am, not 6. On the way down I noticed the red sunrise over the Fishertown roofs and as I passed one of the local churches there was this magnificent silouette. I suppose if you have a God this is what his light looks like and maybe what the sky looked like at the dawn of time. Anyway, it was my saviour today.
