Sands!

An early dash to the market, but oh no - no Pie Dolly! Apparently she has the blasted COVID. Hope she's OK. Then straight up to town to meet our old chum (and severely lapsed blipper) Sands! She can't drive due to having broken her arm, but felt in need of a jaunt.  We walked the length of Rose St (in preference to P's St) and thence to the Dean Gardens, which were looking lovely. Then down into Stockbridge where I was able to obtain a Dolly pie from Mellis, so D will have his treat for tomorrow's lunch. Sands and I had a quick brunch in Hector's and then back up to Princes St for her bus back to NB. D back eventually after another exhausting day. Early night again!
