Tixel Lock

We woke to a very misty morning, which quickly burned off leaving a glorious day.  Locks are one of my main interests when on the canals.  I find 200 year old technology still doing what it was designed for fascinating.  OK, like "Trigger's Broom" all parts will have been replaced/repaired but the design is the same and it is still serving its purpose admirably.

The second highlight for me was the first clutch of Mallard ducklings.  She had 10 which was considerably more than the single in the second clutch.  None of them were more than a few days old.
