IT WAS LIGHT….

…when we started to complete the application to host a Ukrainian family!!!! Honestly some parts of the form were so complicated!!! Trying to get Dad’s written permission for his son to leave the country when he’s fighting a war!!!! And asking them if anyone has been a spy?!?! 2 forms completed and 1 needs redoing tomorrow?!?!?

Bit of gardening, bit of allotment time and afternoon tea at the plot then home to do the above.

Also had a heart wrenching zoom meeting with other Ukrainian friend who has had to leave her parents and resettle with her 2 sons. Lots of tears. So hard to watch. Difficult to comfort
