If you go down to the woods today.....

Had a fine old start to the day today with a 6 mile run, a Body Step class then a leisurely run to the Coalface on Miranda.

Been doing a bit of online research into the all singing and all dancing Garmin Edge 810 and it seems that the features that make it 200 pounds more expensive than the 800 model only work via an Iphone or android phone. The features are weather updates and the ability for your friends and family to track you live when you are out riding. Apparently Garmin have the ability to manufacture a unit that does this without a phone however the mobile networks in some developing countries do not have this functionality. Actually quite pleased about this so instead of 500 odd rides to make, I now only need to replace 358 car journeys with bike rides. Hopefully the price will drop even further!
