Full Steam Ahead

When I stayed at my paternal grandmother’s house I remember this loco racing through the New Forest pulling The Bournemouth Belle. Today we took our Wiltshire grandchildren on our local heritage steam railway. We all had a lovely nostalgic “Railway Children” adventure!

As the Wiltshire family headed home our Gloucestershire grandchildren came to stay overnight. We are very happy to be a helpful family hub again just like old times.
