Welsh Poppy

Today, I took my Mum and her sister home. It was warm  and sunny and the tortoise was very animated and hungry (despite neighbours feeding him ) and soon after we returned he managed to escape from his enclosure, although was quickly captured. It is a bit concerning because I am not sure how he got out. 
I found a few of these  Welsh poppies  that have self seeded in a flower bed in my Mum's garden. I did some tidying up and pruning in her garden, but stopped  once I had filled up her garden waste bin. 
A busy day beckons tomorrow.
