Eastertide blossom
It's been another beautiful day weather- wise. This morning I went to water the little memorial crab apple tree in our wildlife area, which we planted in March. It is doing very well, with plenty of blossom.
This afternoon we participated in the inaugural local Easter Egg Hunt. There were two courses for children and two longer routes for adults. I took my Mum and her sister on the shorter one of 3km (mostly pavements ), while my husband did the 5km rural route. There were a number of control points to be found along each route, where you clipped your entry card, orienteering- style. Over a hundred people participated and we had a good time, so I think the event could be described as a great success.
