Today would have been my dads 90th birthday .Dad sadly he died of cancer 13 years ago after a short illness.
My parents moved down from Edinburgh to live near me and my sister in 1996 , just as my son was born . Without their help I don’t think I could have managed to bring up my son as a lone parent , or have gone back to work as a nurse again. He would have been so proud of my son training and now working as a Dr in the NHS.
It’s another sunny warm day here , so I’m enjoying sitting in the back garden. I’m seeing my Mum this afternoon and then teaching yoga this evening. A good way to spend the day .
