Laurieston Road

First full day at the Cally Palace. I was up rarely and did a 4km walk around the Cally Woods before the family breakfast. It was really good, and certainly enough to keep us going. The boys wanted to go golfing, but as there was no buggy available, my dad decided to come into Castle Douglas with the girls. There’s some new excellent shops, plus some of our favorite old ones, plus a nice cafe too. Mr S wanted to go and explore a bit after golf, do we drove on the wonderful wild Laurieston Road, then accidentally ended up on a very off road mountain road in our hire car!
Had a lovely swim and spa pool, another lovely dinner, games, then bed, in the wonderful room, on the 3rd floor which is bigger than our ground floor in area at home!
