AC/DC
The solar panels are now active after ‘Mark the spark’ wired the inverter to the fuse box. The panels make direct current electricity and goes to the inverter to be converted into household alternating current. Most lights work on AC while appliances change the AC back to DC. Something to do with having a circuit but my physics is limited!
I do know that the average UK household uses 8.5 - 10 kWh per day. Our system made 4.7 during the first afternoon. Let’s see what the electricity bill says.
