Teggs Nose

We had a walk in Teggs Nose country park this morning. It’s a steep hill with a sharp drop at the top. My friend and I used to walk up the scree with 2 dogs in our early teens. There’s a gritstone quarry at the top which was fenced off in those days. It’s no longer in use and the old machinery is painted in bright colours for children to see it. The view is Macclesfield and over the Cheshire plain. It’s Norm’s  birthday today so we’re off out for a meal with friends tonight.
