Carpobrotus acinaciformis

This pretty flower has made a welcome appearance in our garden. We took a few cuttings from a friend last year and it has thrived. This is the first flower, but there are plenty of others about to open up.
Being in a pine forest, a lot of plants don't grow well here, so this is a welcome splash of colour.
I do remember seeing similar plants on our New Zealand trip 3 years ago.
