Pasque flower

The wild Pasque flower is now a very rare plant in the UK and is restricted to a few chalk and limestone grasslands and is found on only a handful of nature reserves. I am lucky to have a chalk meadow - (a Coronation meadow) at Red Hill up on The top of The wolds near me. They were being buffeted by this horrid North wind but looking good and thriving.
It is always a pleasure to see them flourishing.
Back at my pottery class today in another beautiful part of The wolds. This afternoon we did non stop gardening trying to catch up. So all in all a good day!
