Really must be bothered to get my dinner in a good light before blipping it...but I am always so hungry when dinner is ready! My camera seems to give things a yellow tinge in the artificial light.

Anyway this is my first carbonara! I made it without cream as is the traditional Italian way so I tossed the hot pasta with a mixture of beaten eggs, an extra yolk and parmesan. By tossing it off the heat just before serving it avoids scrambled eggs and cooks it just enough to give the pasta a silky covering. V nice! Though did not eat it all. Filling!
Will take rest to work tomo but no idea if it will be nice reheated...or cold for that matter!
