The Feast Day of St. George.
It is a lovely morning, sunny and 11c. I needed my gloves and a warm coat when I went out to find a blip. I have walked 6132 steps so far. There was a serene swan and some Canada geese further along the canal. The Canal side cafe was just opening for morning breakfasts and snacks.
 My husband Paul is working on building some modular storage units from B&Q. The flat packs are straightforward to put together, but there were not the right number of wooden plug pieces, so he drove back to B&Q in Blackburn to buy a few bags, so he can make the units. We have always lacked storage space and now that several bag loads of books and clothes have gone to the charity shop, we can store the remaining things more neatly.
