‘Another Saturday, Another parkrun…..’

..this time not in Edinburgh though! 

We were parkrun ‘tourists’ from Edinburgh at Fountains Abbey parkrun near Ripon. The course is widely considered in parkrun world to be one of the most beautiful in Britain - and I agree - running, as it does, through the magnificent grounds of this former monastery, now owned by the National Trust.

The extra shows some of the participants assembling just before the start - with the abbey in front of them.

A day to remember!
