Today was the day the asparagus was ready

I waited til we had finished before snipping it off. I had forgotten my gloves and Himself nipped into Poundland to grab me a pair on route … and they came with a pair of ‘snippers’.

These things are lethal. I guarantee you if I leave them in my bag. I’m going to loose a finger .

Si has done wonders with the plot and carried on today. He’s removed half the old fortress wall and I started to weed out the beds in front of where they had been and bring them in to match the old bed!

I carefully snipped it; tucked it into the box… and then carried it in. Two minutes in boiling water and it was ready
