A day without shoes

Today was national "no shoes day". So I decided that I would help spread the awareness that there are 1000's if people in Africa who can't afford to buy the things that we take for granted everyday... shoes.

My intentions were to leave my shoes at home, but it didn't quite work out that way. When I went to leave the house it was raining so I had to put my shoes on to get to the car otherwise my socks would get soggy (which made me feel a bit guilty!).

I took them off at work and ventured to the cafe at lunch time and didn't put them back on until it was time to get back in the car.

A strange day.
