A touch of genius...
The Royal Academy is usually a good destination for a blip or two. This is the sculpture of Sir Joshua Reynolds by Alfred Drury commissioned in 1917 which stands in the middle of the courtyard.
A colleague had his sixtieth birthday celebration at St John's Smith Square. Many friends from near and far, his university days and more recent. His wife had organised a surprise duet to write and sing a very funny and revealing poem of his life... choice pieces will be remembered at critical office moments...
