Charleston in Springtime

This is a backblip from Friday.  We arrived in Charleston to attend 2 concerts as part of the Charleston Jazz Festival, and both were fantastic.  The 5 O'clock featured the great Emmet Cohen Trio with two special guests, trumpeter Bruce Harris and singer Lucy Yeghiazaryan.  Philip Harris played bass and Kyle Poole, drums.

At 8:00 PM, Jorge Luis Pacheco Quartet, direct from Havana and their second home in Germany, fired up the audience.  "Pacho" played piano and sang, along with Yorgis on bass, Ramses, drums, and Alfredo, conga and percussion.
