Lemon Heaven

Mum and I made a Lemon Dribble Drizzle cake this evening.

A welcome and successful diversification from our usual banana loaf. We just had a slice of the finished product, warm from the oven. This does count as one of our "five a day", right? I think we achieved perfect balance of lemon : sponge ratio... not too dry, and not too stodgy.

I love the scales we use at home, and the nostalgia that go with them. These scales epitomise real home baking.
