Southbank

Ryan and I spent the day in London! We took a fairly chilled out approach, and spent a while just meandering around Camden Market. When the sun is out in Camden, it somehow feels like you are in a foreign country - definitely not in England! We got a pint down by Camden Lock - with the sun always shining on us - and had a walk along the canal. We then took the tube down to the Southbank and had a long walk along.

At about 4pm my friend Sue met us, and we got pizza right on the river front before going to see the Graham Norton show being filmed!! Oh how great it is to know friends of friends who can get us some great seats ;). It was awesome seeing the studio and how they go about filming everything. There was time after the filming to walk up to Covent Garden for another pint. Lovely.

Now, my photo by no means portrays how beautiful the view was when we left the tv studio (which is just on the right of the photo). The trees on Southbank were covered in lights, and the London skyline was perfectly illuminated and reflected in the river in front of it. Lesson learned? I need a tripod. The photo still gives some insight to what I'm trying to get at (I hope!).
