Hail Storm for Sant Jordi!
Back blipping
I was assessing a course at a centre in Barcelona today and so that took me up till 3.00pm. 23rd April is Sant Jordi in Catalunya, which is celebrated with gifts of roses and books and it was a hugely anticipated today, being the first since the start of the pandemic. The weather was weird and changeable all day and went from bright sunshine to heavy rain showers and even this hail storm late afternoon! You can see the size of them here on our patio. When I left the school, which is right in the centre near Passeig de Gracia, the city was heaving and main roads were closed to traffic. I would have had a wander as I do like this holiday, but I was carrying my laptop and didn't want to risk it being stolen from by backpack, so came straight home.
Indian dinner at night in Rasoi.
Bb bought me a rose - didn't have to be carted through airports and countries this time!! I bought him a book, which he actually chose himself from a bookstand near the Indian restaurant.
