Darned socks

Today I finished my first darning work.
When I was a child my mother made clothes to us children by sewing, knitting and crotheting. She also repaired clothes and other textiles. At that time it belonged to a common way of life.

Now that my husband's wool socks had big holes, I decided to learn to darn. The socks are very nicely coloured and we both wanted to watch them a bit longer. Few things are still to be learned better. However, I was pleased, that is quite rare to me, a very self demanding person(;
