All the weather

After some sleep, I woke at 6 to what I thought was one of our teams passing. Turns out it was - they had both come through by 6:05am!

We struck camp as the rain started to fall and headed to the first check point at Princetown by road. The other female leader and I made use of the public toilets (20p though!!) - much needed and meant we could face a coffee! Oh to be able to easily pee against a wall!

3 came off at the first checkpoint and we headed to the second checkpoint. Where we discovered that 2/3 had not had any breakfast. As it was by now raining, they are in the minibus until their team arrived and they were dispatched again feeling much better. The third was kept off due to blisters - no point making them worse at this stage as it could mean missing the main event!

Once both teams had gone, we returned to Fox Tor Cafe and tucked in to our own breakfasts! Then waited for a few hours until the teams finished.

Home now, unpacked and everything airing. Just need to jump in the shower, have some tea then I think it’s an early night!
