Cricket season has begun!

We watched the 9.30 service at church online, which included a terrific sermon by our Vicar on the passage about Jesus’ encounter with two of his disciples on the road to Emmaus after his resurrection. 

Later on, after lunch, we went out for our walk and passed the local cricket club, where the first game of the season was in progress against Capricorn CC, which is another local cricket club. I took a few other photos on the walk, and have put a couple in extras. The first one shows one of the several pumps which exist around the neighbourhood (which isn’t called Woodford Wells for nothing!) and the other is of some glorious wisteria growing on one of the local houses.
