A twig from todays walk will have to symbolise the day. It's so windy now, that walks has to be taken in a forest because it's too unpleasant being in this chilly north easterly gale we're having for the last few days. The twig was attached to an old tree, looking almost petrified, covered in moss, with a smooth surface.

In the late afternoon I visited yet another concert, the third in three days. This one was the seasons first one at the home of my concert-arranging friend. She only offers five concerts this summer,  this one was indoors, the others will be in her garden. There's so much else happening and she wants to visit events herself. So do I.
