Two New Friends!

Two new horses have appeared in the place where two of our old friends used to be. The people who live there have been working on making good fields to keep their horses in while their horses have been largely living somewhere else - not too far away. The two that were there last year - General and Flinch - were carrot devotees and then they went back to their boarding situation over the winter. Now suddenly a different pair has appeared. They came straight to the fence as soon as they saw us and seemed happy with the attention and the carrots - but were a bit inept in the lip department. Apparently small pieces of carrot were not something they were experienced with. There was some dropping. But in the end, they ate them all. Neither Holden and Tall Boi, nor the Connemara pony gang were near the fences this morning - so I still had all the carrots on our return and thus, gave them to these guys. And I checked. Both geldings. I hope that one day soon we'll learn their names.
